Imagine Dragons has revealed the title of their sixth studio album, “LOOM.”
“LOOM,” which will be released on June 28, 2024, will be the band’s first new album since Mercury – Acts 1 & 2 in 2022.
Frontman Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons wrote a lengthy caption for the band’s Instagram album announcement post. He said of the LOOM creative process, “Working on this record was a rollercoaster – just as it usually is. The music emanated from joy and jubilation on some days and grief and heartache on others. Despondency. Seeking, Desiring, Fury, Love. The lovely thing about creating songs is that it has always been my journal. It has recorded decades of my trip through this odd life.
Reynolds went on, thanking fans, saying, “And I’ve been blessed enough to make it with my greatest friends in a band and have you experience it with us. I appreciate your helping me to feel less alone on this earth. Thank you for singing with me everywhere. reminding me that we are all in this together as one.
On July 30, the band will also begin their North American “LOOM World Tour” in Camden, New Jersey.
Sales of tickets start on Friday, April 26.
