Celebrating more than five years sober, actor Anne Hathaway is “over five years sober.”
She confessed in a recent interview with The New York Times, “I am over five years sober, although I rarely discuss it. “That strikes me as a significant milestone.”
The actor from “Love & Other Drugs” initially alluded to her intention to abstain from alcohol during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2019.
She explained at the time that a severe hangover she experienced after handing off her son at school served as a turning point that made her realize she needed to be completely present for him. Hathaway, who is currently 41 years old, also disclosed her sentiments regarding aging: “Being forty feels like a blessing.
