Chris Stapleton and Dua Lipa performed “Think I’m in Love with You” on stage together.
On Thursday, May 16, Dua Lipa stunned the crowd at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
The ethereal vocalist kicked off Stapleton’s rendition of “Think I’m in Love with You.”
Dua revealed to Bobby Bones that she and Stapelton have “been talking about” this duet “for a little while.”
“It was my idea,” Continued the Dance the Night singer said. “I’m such a fan of Chris’,” Dua Lipa said, “that I kind of went out and said, ‘Hey, want to do something together?’ And this materialized. I consider myself quite fortunate to have spent a few days in Chris and Morgane’s circle, exploring the melody of everything. It has simply been amazing, the Grammy-winning pop singer said.
“Dua is kind of the queen of feel-good music,” Stapleton said as he praised the Houdini singer.
Stapleton won Album of the Year, artist-songwriter of the Year, and Male Artist of the Year at the ACM Awards presentation.
