Ryan Sutter spent Mother’s Day apart from his wife Trista Sutter.
After a flurry of speculations of a split from his wife Trista Sutter after his Cryptic Mother’s Day message, Ryan Sutter broke his silence.
Referring to his earlier statement that he had no intention to “deceive or mislead anyone,” the 49-year-old reality TV personality cleared the air on May 18 on his official Instagram account. He posted a black and white photo of himself outside and captioned it, “Trista is well. Things are good. We are fantastic.
Trista is in a stage where she is a little bit searching, he said. A chance came up that would be helpful to her in that endeavor. She has accepted it, helped along by her family. She is temporarily unavailable to us as part of that procedure.”
“I miss her. Ryan added, “We miss her.”
Just a few days ago, on May 12, Ryan posted several pictures on social media that showed Trista was not with him and his kids.
In his cryptic post, he said, “They say that time passes and the heart becomes fonder. Only a few days come to mind when I haven’t at least chatted with this amazing woman.”
Relationship of Bachelorette couple Ryan and Trista: The two first met on the set of Bachelorette Season 1 and were married in a televised special in December 2003.
Maxwell, 16, is the son of the marriage; Blakesley, 14, is the daughter.
Last seen in public in January 2024, the pair were seen with their children at Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist’s Golden Bachelor wedding.
