Celine Dion’s Heart Melts for Cellist HAUSER After Moving ‘Titanic’ Tribute

Hauser asked to appear on stage with Celine Dion, but she declined.

World-class cellist HAUSER honored Celine Dion this past weekend with a performance of her Titanic theme tune.

As reported by TMZ, the 56-year-old singer, who is known as the Queen of Power Ballads, performed at the Rebel With a Cello show at Wynn Las Vegas on Saturday night, June 22.

The cellist, born Stjepan Hauser, knew Dion was coming to his performance because she was greeted with a rousing round of applause as she arrived at her seat.

Exuberant by the chance, he proceeded to play My Heart Will Go On, a classic Dion song, in honor of the distinguished guest.

The Canadian singer appeared taken aback at the start of the tribute performance in the fan-captured video circulating on social media, ultimately slipping into a different mindset as she listened to the lovely rendition of her 1997 song.

Hauser’s poignant gesture touched her and held her attention right up to the very end. She then did not hold back in giving the performer a standing ovation.

She bowed gratefully when she realized that the audience was applauding her as well as the Croatian native.

Hauser kindly declined to have Dion play the 27-year-old song with him on stage because she is fighting stiff muscular syndrome.

But she saw him after the show and took photos to remember the occasion.
