Attending Wimbledon with her husband, Tom Ackerley, on Friday, July 12, Margot Robbie made her first public appearance following her pregnancy announcement. Expecting their first child together, the pair smiled and held hands while lounging about the All England Club in London.
Robbie, 34, looked put together in a black and white polka dot dress with an asymmetrical skirt and a shawl-like left arm. She accessorized with rectangular sunglasses, a black and white bowling-style backpack, and open-toe black mules. Her golden hair was laid in loose waves.
Complementing her outfit, Tom Ackerley—also 34— wore white sneakers, a cream tennis T-shirt, salmon-colored slacks, and sunglasses. He was visible carrying a khaki jacket. Watching the first semi-final between Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev on Centre Court, the couple kissed.
The trip follows PEOPLE’s earlier this month revelation of Robbie and Ackerley expecting their first child. Multiple reliable sources validated the news. First meeting in 2013 on the World War II drama “Suite Française,” Robbie featured as Celine Joseph while Ackerley was an assistant director. December 2016 saw their marriage in a private ceremony in Byron Bay, Australia.
In a recent interview with The Sunday Times, Ackerley commended Robbie and their flawless blending of personal and professional life. There is no toggle on or off here. It is all now one thing,” he remarked. The British film producer, who works with Robbie at their production company LuckyChap, added that he “feels like an honorary Aussie, Margot feels like an honorary Brit.”
Ackerley pointed out sarcastically that their only disagreements are which of Australian Tim Tams or British Penguins are better. He also mentioned wishing Australia and England had more of a sporting rivalry.
