Alexa PenaVega finds the reality show to be extremely flirty.
Alexa PenaVega revealed that Dancing With The Stars had strained her relationship with her husband, Carlos PenaVega.
On November 4th, Alexa spoke on the Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans podcast, where she discussed the problems they had while participating in season 21 of the popular show.
Although the couple appeared on the show together, the 36-year-old confessed it was difficult watching each other dance so closely with their partners.
“It is incredibly flirty,” Alexa explained.
She stated that to avoid problems, they set strict boundaries while competing on the show.
“We said, ‘We don’t know how spouses do this show without doing it the way we did.'”
The Spy Kids star revealed that her spouse, whom she married in 2014, was envious and insecure at the time, making it challenging to see her dance with someone else.
Alexa, who finished sixth in the tournament, and Carlos, who finished fourth, underlined the significance of boundaries.
Alexa went on to say that if her interactions with her dancing partner became flirtatious, she would stop them right away, no matter how it appeared.
The mother of three stated that defining their ties with their dance partners was critical to preserving their relationship.
