Lana Del Rey revealed the shocking name of her new album, along with an exciting release date.
Lana Del Rey is preparing for a busy 2025, beginning with the release of her new album, The Right Person Will Stay, on May 21.
The singer-songwriter announced the joyful news in an Instagram post on November 24th, gratitude for collaborators like Jack Antonoff, Zachary Dawes, Luke Laird, and Drew Erickson for their contributions to the 13-track CD.
“Happy for you to hear a few songs coming up before Stagecoach. Starting with Henry. Love always,” she said, implying an early single scheduled for release in the first few months of 2025.
This is not the first time Del Rey has hinted new music. Earlier this year, she hinted at a prospective country album called Lasso and previewed a dreamy, guitar-driven single that fans suspect could be titled “Henry, Come On,” as suggested in her most recent post. With her most recent update, it looks Lasso has matured into The Right Person Will Stay.
The album comes after her widely acclaimed 2023 release, Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, which secured the No. 3 spot on the Billboard 200.
Aside from the album, Del Rey has ambitious ambitions for the stage. She’s scheduled to headline Stagecoach in April before heading on a stadium tour across the U.K. and Ireland starting in June and closing up at London’s famed Wembley Stadium in July.
