Robert Pattinson Faces Popularity Decline Amid Shocking Retirement Speculations

Robert Pattinson hints about retiring from acting.

Robert Pattinson’s popularity appeared to fall when a fan speculated that the actor had retirement from acting following the success of Twilight.

In a new interview with The New York Times, the Tenet actor, who shot to popularity as Edward Cullen in the 2008 film adaption of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight, revealed up about his funny interaction with an airport employee.

“Hello, you’re the guy from Twilight. “Why have you stopped acting?” asked a fan who believed Robert had retired from acting.

The Damsel actor said, “I was like, ‘I’m Batman?'” “She just laughed.

During the conversation, Robert also discussed the industry’s popularity decline after a decade.

“There’s something about the nature of being fresh meat,” he told the publication.

The Life actor said, “They thought, ‘You’re not even a human.'”

“The main thing is constantly remembering what your job is… It’s a discipline to not use your energy on anything other than that,” Robert observed.

However, now working as a producer, Robert had a new perspective on the profession.

“If you are just an actor, you don’t meet with anyone other than directors who want you to play an English prince,” he explained.

Robert, who will play Bong Joon Ho’s Mickey 17, continued, “Doing this, I’ve met so many different people and I have something to provide them.”

“It’s made me more understanding of what I’m doing as a performer, as well,” said the musician.

Meanwhile, Robert is thinking about retiring from acting after working on  the second episode of Matt Reeves’ trilogy, which will be released in the fall of 2026.

“I could genuinely be retiring by the end of them,” the actor said.
