‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ Makers ‘Kept Cast Away’ from Seth Rogen & Billy Eichner, Reveals New Detail

‘Pumbaa’ and ‘Timon’ will be voiced by Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner.

Before the premiere of Mufasa: The Lion King, actors Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner shared details about what happened behind the scenes.

While discussing the next adventure film in an interview, Billy and Seth claimed that the producers sought to keep the cast members as far away from the two as possible.

This is one of the reasons why the couple admitted they didn’t meet Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter while filming the film.

The majority of their scenes are with Carter, although the 12-year-old was not ‘invited to the duo’s recording sessions’.

In an interview with People, Rogen and Eichner remarked, “We’ve never met”, Blue Ivy.

“Although all of our scenes are with Blue Ivy,” the 42-year-old explained, “she was not invited to our recording sessions.”

Meanwhile, the 46-year-old stated, “They try to keep the cast as far away from us as possible.”

The Superbad star confirmed the statement, saying, “Me and Billy get our own little booth. Nobody else engages with us.

The two amazing talents will reprise their roles as ‘Timon’ and ‘Pumbaa’ in Disney’s 2019 Lion King remake.

Billy will voice Timon, while Seth will sing Pumbaa.
