Britney Spears Slams ‘Mean’ Comments Disguised as ‘Concern’: ‘I’m So Damn Sick of It!

Britney Spears says she pulled down her dancing videos because of all the criticism she received over them.

Britney Spears exposes the emotional toll internet criticism has had on her, particularly with her favorite Instagram dancing videos.

On Friday, December 20, the Princes of Pop took to Instagram to express her “severe sadness” after receiving harsh comments, specifically about her dance clips.

“I took the video of myself dancing down because so many people said so many mean things…if they only knew how severe my sadness is,” Spears, 42, said, following a series of personal photographs, including a shot of her on the beach.

She characterized the event as a “f**king miracle” that she could dance despite her emotional state.

Spears went on to explain how a recent vacation lifted her mood. Although she was first too “sad” to enjoy it, seeing the beach and relaxing in her hotel lifted her spirits. Even amid this quiet, the Toxic hitmaker was disappointed by the vitriol she encountered online.

“I’m so damn sick of people saying they are concerned,” she said afterward. “If you don’t like the way I move, f**k off and don’t watch it!!!”

Spears has previously responded to critics, like Ozzy Osbourne and Abby Lee Miller, who have derided her dance routines.

She is shameless about expressing herself through her movement, asking naysayers to “go read a f**king book” if they can’t take it.
