Los Angeles, CA – Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal, the dynamic duo behind the longest-running talk show on YouTube, “Good Mythical Morning,” are taking their unique blend of comedy, creativity, and camaraderie on the road. For the first time in their illustrious careers, the pair, known simply as Rhett & Link, are launching the “Good Mythical Tour,” a much-anticipated event set to dazzle fans across the United States this spring.
Tour Kickoff and Key Dates
The tour kicks off on May 28, 2024, at The Wiltern in Los Angeles and concludes on June 9 at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia. The nine-city tour promises to bring the show’s beloved segments and classic games to life, along with musical performances and a dash of mayhem. The tour will also feature appearances from “GMM” executive producer Stevie Wynne Levine, and Mythical Kitchen chef Josh Scherer, among others.
A Leap from Screen to Stage
Celebrating their 11th year on YouTube, Rhett & Link’s transition from digital to physical space marks a new chapter for the pair, who have entertained more than 25 million YouTube fans with their morning show. “We’ve been hosting ‘Good Mythical Morning’ for 12 years in 2D. It’s time to bring our 3D selves to 3D cities with big 3D audiences,” Rhett & Link shared in a statement to Variety. Their live shows, the first since 2019, aim to offer fans an immersive experience unlike any other.
A Journey from Detention to YouTube Stardom
The story of Rhett & Link is as mythical as their content. Meeting in the first grade and bonding over detention for writing profanities, they have since turned their creative chemistry into a digital empire. From humble beginnings in 2006, they’ve hosted celebrities like Tom Hanks, Post Malone, and Megan Fox, and expanded their brand with the acquisition and recent sale of the Smosh comedy brand.
