Andrew Garfield provides a rare update on his relationship with Emma Stone.
Andrew Garfield has finally responded to a fan idea concerning Emma Stone’s widely praised film La La Land.
Garfield, who played Spider-Man in the landmark film The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), replied to a fan idea that the film is covertly about his reported connection with the Academy Award winner.
During an exclusive interview with Esquire, the 41-year-old spoke bluntly, attempting to clarify the air: “I think people need something to believe.
“I have never, and I won’t ever, speak about or confirm or deny anything about my personal life with anyone, ever.”
In 2016, director Damien Chazelle disputed such claims, saying that the film had a more lyrical plot.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he stated, “The movie is not based on anything. There is something very poetic about a city that is built by people with these unrealistic dreams, and they just put it all on the line for that.”
The actor is presently seeing Dr. Kate Tomas, a 42-year-old self-described “professional witch,” whom he publicly announced as his girlfriend in March 2024.
