Recently, Angelina Jolie revealed something unexpected about her previous career interests.
The 49-year-old actress recently made a guest appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Before starting her acting career, the actress said during the chat that she had always intended to work as a funeral director.
The presenter responded, “First of all, is it true that before acting you were studying to become a funeral director?”
“Yes,” the Oscar-winning actress said, before jokingly adding, “Doesn’t it make sense though?”
The mother of six gave an explanation of why she was first drawn to the field, saying that it was after her grandfather’s death that she became interested in it.
This should be a celebration of life. And since I’m not afraid of death and I was comfortable with it, I thought, this would be a great career path for me… I could, like, make this better. The actress from Salt went on, “I could do something here.”
Jokingly, the Eternals star admitted, “It’s my fall-back career now.”
Jolie reportedly made her comeback to the show after a ten-year hiatus.
