Angelina Jolie’s film Maria will be released on Netflix on February 6.
Angelina Jolie, the A-list Hollywood celebrity, recently talked about her uplifting experience playing an opera singer in her upcoming film Maria.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Salt actress sat down with the film’s director Pablo Larrain for an in-depth talk after their new project opened at North America’s Telluride Film Festival.
For those unfamiliar, the film Maria is based on the real-life events of famed opera singer Maria Callas.
When asked about her character, Jolie revealed that playing Maria was a challenging effort. She confessed, “It certainly was the hardest thing I’ve ever done.”
Furthermore, the 49-year-old actress stated, “Where we connect is in our dedication to our work, our vulnerability, our loneliness, and our love of communicating with an audience.”
The musical drama will be released on Netflix on February 6, 2025.
