Avril Lavigne Rocks 2024: Epic ‘Greatest Hits’ Tour with Simple Plan & All Time Low

Pop punk sensation Avril Lavigne is set to hit the road for a ‘Greatest Hits’ tour across North America this spring and summer, bringing a blast from the past with a modern twist. Fans of the early 2000s pop-punk era are in for a treat as Lavigne teams up with genre giants Simple Plan and All Time Low, promising a high-energy trip down memory lane.

The tour, which kicks off on May 22 in Vancouver, will travel through major cities including Las Vegas, Toronto, and Chicago, culminating in Edmonton on September 16. Notably, Lavigne reunites with Simple Plan, who joined her on her very first tour, for select dates. The lineup is further bolstered by performances from All Time Low, Royal & the Serpent, and Girlfriends on various dates.

Avril’s return to the pop-punk scene was marked by her 2022 album ‘Love Sux,’ produced by renowned drummer Travis Barker. Her collaboration with All Time Low at the ‘When We Were Young’ festival, where they performed the iconic “Sk8er Boi,” was a highlight of last year.

Tickets for the tour go on sale on January 26, with presales starting January 24. The tour promises a blend of nostalgic hits and fresh tracks, catering to both long-time fans and newcomers to the genre. The NYC area will see performances at Holmdel, NJ’s PNC Bank Arts Center on August 23 and Wantagh, NY’s Jones Beach on August 27, with Simple Plan joining the lineup.

Avril Lavigne’s 2024 North American Tour is more than just a series of concerts; it’s a celebration of pop punk’s enduring appeal and a showcase of its evolution. With a mix of festival dates and amphitheater shows, the tour is set to be one of the most anticipated musical events of the year.
