Barry Keoghan Delivers Spine-Chilling Performance in Intense ‘Bring Them Down’ Teaser

Barry Keoghan takes over for Paul Mescal in new film ‘Bring Them Down’

Barry Keoghan showcases his acting abilities in the first teaser for his upcoming revenge film Bring Them Down.

The 32-year-old Irish actor will co-star with Christopher Abbott, who rose to prominence in Poor Things.

The initial teaser showed Barry caked in blood, indicating that the picture is not for the weak-hearted.

The Saltburn actor plays Jack, the son of Christopher’s rival family, and there are ancient tensions and rivalries between the families.

The rest of the cast includes Colm Meaney, Nora-Jane Noone, Paul Ready, and Susan Lynch.

The trailer focuses on views of an eerie, isolated farm against a menacing thumping drum beat.

Barry can be heard saying in a frightening tone to Michael, “You know what they say, where there’s lives stock, there’s dead stock.”

It then shows visions of violence, with many characters aiming weapons at each other and screaming.

Following the grisly scenes, Barry and Christopher are seen fighting, with Barry punches Christopher in the face and Christopher smashing his car with a tire iron.

The Banshees of Inisherin actor’s new film was shot in Ireland in February of last year, and he replaced Gladiator II star Paul Mescal in the part of Jack.

Bring Them Down is set for release in February of next year.
