Bethenny Frankel and Paul Bernon Call It Quits After 6-Year Romance: The Inside Scoop

After six years of dating, Bethenny Frankel and Paul Bernon have ended their relationship, Us Weekly can exclusively reveal.

The duo separated up about two months ago, and a mutual acquaintance of theirs told Us that “it just wasn’t going to work.” They are different; he’s a guy who stays beneath the radar, the source claimed. By wearing her enormous engagement ring in social media videos just some time in recent weeks, Frankel has created doubt about her relationship status. “She still has the ring,” the insider said. We requested comments from the teams of Frankel and Bernon.

October 2018 saw Bethenny Frankel start dating Paul Bernon after meeting him on a dating app.

Frankel told People in April 2021, “I felt pretty lucky when I walked in and spotted him. There was a sparkle to him. He arrived not only as promised but even better than that. He shot above the target.
Frankel and Bernon moved in together and were looking for a new home, a source exclusively informed Us Weekly, over a year later.

“They now live together in the Back Bay area of Boston,” the source said in September 2019. She has been spending a great deal more time up there. They are looking for a house in New England.

Frankel and Bernon briefly broke up in October 2020, however, they were seen together in Miami in January 2021. An eyewitness told Us at the time, “It was a spontaneous get-together.”

March 2021 saw the couple declare their engagement after their reconciliation.

Frankel told Extra at the time, “I’m excited, and it’s wonderful.”

After their engagement, a year later, she was gushing over Bernon’s “good partnership.”

“I’m grateful for balance in my business and personal life and the choices I’m making, the successes I’m experiencing, the daughter I am raising,” Frankel said in November 2022 on an edition of People’s “Every Day” podcast. “Paul is great. The good partner he is. He makes an excellent companion. He raises a nice family. Everything then seems fine. Excellent everything.

Frankel confirmed in July 2023, following rumors that they had broken up once more, that she and Bernon were still together but not planning to get married anytime soon.

“I don’t want to build a wedding,” she declared in July 2023 on an appearance on E! News. My life is great. My fiancé is my everything. He is a wonderful life partner, and I would never want to sign a contract with someone I love. I want to [do] what we want, not organize a huge wedding for everyone else. I prefer to do what I want to do, not what society expects of me.

From 2010 until 2012, Frankel was married to Jason Hoppy; nevertheless, following a ten-year legal fight, their divorce was not finalized until March 2021. (The pair is parents of 13-year-old Bryn.)

Regarding her divorce, Frankel said in an April 2024 episode of her “Just B” podcast, “It was the most traumatizing thing I will hopefully ever go through in my life. “I went through a f–king war. I have doubted myself as a mom and as a human because I was repeatedly informed how awful, nasty, old, irrelevant, and abused I was, and I had no way to escape it.
