Since their collaboration on the 2009 film X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Reynolds, and Jackman have been close friends.
The actress most recognized for her performance in “It Ends with Us,” Blake Lively, teased her husband, Ryan Reynolds, gently on social media on his recent antics with Hugh Jackman during their “Deadpool & Wolverine” promotional tour in Asia.
Lively, 36, posted a video on Instagram Stories depicting Reynolds, 47, fiercely firing a water gun over the audience at the Waterbomb Festival in Seoul, South Korea. “When he tells you he’s going to work and then you see him on MTV Spring Break,” she said in a funny caption for the video.
Posting a GIF that said, “You are in serious trouble,” and jokingly suggested renaming their upcoming film to “Boys Gone Wild: A Deadpool and Wolverine Story.”
Just one stop on the pair’s promotional tour, the Waterbomb Festival was followed by a visit to Shanghai. Reynolds expressed thanks for the friendly welcome by sharing pictures of the trip on Instagram.
Since their 2009 movie “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” 55-year-old Reynolds and Jackman have been close friends. Reynolds has ascribed their close relationship to mutual support and sincere concern for each other’s success.
“Deadpool & Wolverine” will be in theatres on July 26.
