The Formula 1 film’s release date was announced by Apple Original Films.
Apple Original Films has set a release date for Brad Pitt‘s much-awaited Formula 1 film for 2025.
Variety reports that the movie with no title will open in theaters on June 27, 2025.
Warner Bros. worked with Apple to bring this project to theaters.
The picture will be shown at Imax theaters, which might make it the format that those who are interested in a movie that highlights its racing sequences choose.
It will premiere at the theaters concurrently with the 2023 horror sensation M3GAN 2.0.
Top Gun: Maverick filmmaker Joseph Kosinski will be helming the Formula 1 film.
Samson Kayo, Kim Bodnia, Sarah Niles, Tobias Menzies, Javier Bardem, and Kerry Condon are among the ensemble.
Kosinski is collaborating on the film with Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman of Jerry Bruckheimer Films, Pitt, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner of Plan B Entertainment, and Lewis Hamilton under his Dawn Apollo Films label.
Production of the film was done in association with Formula 1. Ehren Kruger wrote the screenplay; he worked with Kosinski on Top Gun: Maverick.
