Britney Spears‘ from teenage blonde to the most recent daring transformations
Britney Spears used Instagram to explain how a drastic hair transformation last year had a significant impact on her personality.
In a throwback video from precisely a year ago, the pop icon discusses her decision to go platinum blonde for the first time. “I went platinum blonde for the first time ever!!!” Spears enthusiastically wrote.
Despite being a blonde for the majority of her 25-year career, her stunning transformation was a significant shift.
“Honestly, it was a huge difference!!! I became this cool character right when the camera came on!!!! Then I don’t know what happened!!!” Spears explained, emphasizing how the shift made her feel like a new person.
At 42, she continues to mesmerize with her ever-changing hairstyles. The pop artist, who has been a blonde icon for much of her career, first embraced her golden locks as a teenager.
In 1999, she had honeyed pigtails and pink hair ties in her iconic “…Baby One More Time” video at the age of 17.
Her light blonde appearance was also a signature of her 2000 hit. Oops, I did it again.
Throughout the early 2000s, she kept a brilliant blonde look, but in 2007, she shaved her head and briefly wore dark brown hair.
She wore a jet-black wig on the cover of her 2007 album Blackout before returning to her iconic blonde look for her 2008 album Circus.
Britney has recently experimented with a variety of colors, including red, pink, and purple, showcasing her bold and ever-changing style.
