Cher captivates fans with her confession of being in love with Val Kilmer.
Cher, the Goddess of Pop, has allowed only a few guys to date her yet has still been heartbroken by the man she loves the most.
While appearing on The Howard Stern Show, the 78-year-old was asked spicy questions about her intimate life.
Howard Stern went on to ask, “Who would ever leave you?” Cher just replied: “Few men.”
“Look, I was madly in love with Val Kilmer, and he left because sometimes you are only meant to be with someone for so long. “Val was young.”
For the unknown, the former couple spent two years together despite having a 13-year age difference.
In a dated People interview, Cher stated, “Val didn’t want to yell ‘Cher’ and I didn’t want to yell ‘Val’.”
“We also dubbed ourselves Valus Maximus and Cherus Reprimandus.” It was just who I was in the house. Of course, he was Maximus; come on.”
She shared that they became friends because they constantly laughed at the same things. She added, “He used to stay over, and it started as just a friendship. It took some time, though maybe not that long.”
Cher made her professional debut as part of the folk rock husband-wife team Sonny & Cher. She also rose to prominence after recording her first solo top ten singles, Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) and You Better Sit Down Kids.
