Dwayne Johnson admits he couldn’t keep a straight face and had to reshoot parts several times.
Chris Evans’ sense of humor kept his co-star Dwayne Johnson giggling throughout filming for their latest film, Red One.
During the Berlin premiere on November 3, the 52-year-old actor discussed his on-set chemistry with Evans.
When asked how he maintained his cool amid amusing sequences, Johnson promptly replied, “Because I’m a pro.”
He chuckled and admitted that he couldn’t keep a straight face and frequently broke character during scenes.
“I laughed so many times. “I am notorious for ruining takes,” the actor admitted.
“I laugh, it’s just what happens,” he said.
The Jumanji star praised the 43-year-old’s comedic timing, calling him a skilled performer with a fantastic sense of humor.
He also revealed that he and the Gifted actor thought they’d get along great, which turned out to be accurate.
“I thought earlier that maybe me and Chris might have some good chemistry. So did he, and we did,” he cheerfully declared.
The comedy-action film depicts an E.L.F task force commander who teams up with a bounty hunter to preserve Christmas.
Johnson plays Callum Drift, while Evans portrays Jack O’Malley.
