Damien Leone Teases ‘Terrifier 4’: Get Ready for an Epic Showdown

Starring in “Terrifier 3” are Samantha Scaffidi, Lauren LaVera, and David Howard Thornton.

The fourth sequel of the franchise has been formally revealed by Terrifier filmmaker Damien Leone.

The fourth installment is in the works and will provide an epic conclusion to this clown tale, according to Leone, who is now enjoying the success of Terrifier 3, which was released on October 11, 2024.

“It will certainly be an epic showdown, an epic closure to this Art the Clown saga” he said exclusively to Variety.

Out of all the prior movies, the upcoming sequel will be the most adventurous, according to the 42-year-old director.

“The idea I’m toying with in my head would probably be in some regards the most experimental, so I can’t dive into it too much. Some really, really crazy things will happen in the next one” he continued.

The director of 9th Circle acknowledged that while he wants a story that pushes the envelope, he also does not want the final result to be met with “extreme distaste.”

“I’m always looking for lines to get up to, to push the boundary. Maybe just step right over it. But you can absolutely fall into a level of extreme distaste that I’m trying not to do. There’s a scene in the beginning where Art murders a child off screen and you just hear it.”

David Howard Thornton, Lauren LaVera, Samantha Scaffidi, and others are featured in Damien Leone’s most recent film, Terrifier 3. Viewers have been terrified by the well-known horror franchise when it debuted in 2016.
