Actors Alessandra Ambrosio and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley entered Moore for the event.
Hollywood veteran Demi Moore made waves on Sunday night at the Cannes Film Festival when she arrived with actors Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Alessandra Ambrosio for the world premiere of her new body horror picture, “The Substance.”
Moore, 61, glowed in a gorgeous warm silver gown with an arrow sticking out of it. Jewellery set in silver and diamonds matched the outfit. Moore plays a waning movie star in “The Substance,” who takes drastic steps to stay young. At Cannes, the picture, which was directed by Coralie Fargeat, is one of those competing for the coveted Palme d’Or.
The movie stars Moore with Dennis Quaid and Margaret Qualley.
Huntington-Whiteley, 37, went with Moore to the premiere wearing a chic black jumpsuit with silver tassels that cascaded down. In a form-fitting silver patterned dress, 43-year-old Ambrosio dazzled.
Dates accompanied both stars; Ambrosio arrived with Mohammed Al Turki, a film producer. PDA was not something the pair held back on the red carpet.
Conceived in 1939 as a competitor to the Venice Film Festival, the Cannes Film Festival is well-known for its stringent selection procedure and track record of introducing ground-breaking movies and directors. Prior Palme d’Or winners include “Taxi Driver,” “Pulp Fiction,” and “Parasite.”
