George Clooney and Brad Pitt will reprise their renowned roles in the next Ocean’s sequel.
George Clooney and Brad Pitt lit up the red carpet at TCL Chinese Theatre on Wednesday night for the Hollywood premiere of Wolfs, their latest film.
The long-time friends reunited for the Netflix action comedy, which debuted at the Venice Film Festival two weeks ago.
Clooney and Pitt didn’t simply bring star power to the screen; they also took some playful barbs at their age while filming.
Director Jon Watts told Entertainment Weekly that the veteran actors handled the age-related jokes in stride.
“I added those jokes to the script with my fingers crossed, hoping they wouldn’t take it the wrong way,” he told me.
“But they loved it! It was the perfect balance of humor, and they were totally up for having a little fun with it.”
The premiere represented a reunion for the two Hollywood icons, who previously collaborated in 2008’s Burn After Reading.
Clooney plays the first cleaner on the scene, only to be joined by Pitt’s character, leading to an unexpected partnership – and chaos they never anticipated.
The renowned duo will also return to familiar territory, reprising their famed roles as Danny Ocean and Robert “Rusty” Ryan in a new Ocean’s film.
As reported by Deadline, Warner Bros. and Smokehouse Pictures are currently working on a new heist film. The studio is eyeing All Quiet on the Western Front director Edward Berger to lead the project.
