George Clooney answers to Tarantino: ‘I’ve been a cinematic star since the millennium.
George Clooney has expressed his displeasure with Quentin Tarantino, citing recent disparaging remarks made by the director about his career.
The actors, who played brothers in Robert Rodriguez’s 1996 movie From Dusk Till Dawn, appear to have a strained relationship.
Clooney didn’t mince words during a forthright GQ interview with close buddy Brad Pitt. “Quentin said some s**t about me recently, so I’m a little irritated by him,” Clooney revealed.
Despite their collaborative past and his stellar career, which includes hits such as O Brother, Where Art Thou? and Out of Sight, Tarantino has reportedly been unimpressed with the actor’s work.
Brad Pitt found the scenario hilarious, bringing some light to an otherwise tense exchange.
Clooney responded that he was not a “movie star” and dared him to identify a post-millennium film.
“Since the millennium?” “That’s kind of my whole f***ing career,” he responded, apparently offended by the criticism.
During a joint interview with his longtime pal Brad Pitt, Clooney expressed his irritation, stating, Now I’m like, all right, dude, f*** off. I don’t mind giving him s***. He gave me s***.”
