Jerry Seinfeld made light of the ‘Unfrosted‘ press tour on Saturday Night Live.
On Saturday Night Live, Jerry Seinfeld blasted his overzealous “Unfrosted” promotional trip.
On his publicity tour for his Netflix film Unfrosted, Seinfeld stopped by SNL’s weekend update to make people chuckle.
Colin Jost made his directing debut when he presented the celebrity as someone who “did much press” for his picture.
When Seinfeld joined the Show this weekend, he feigned not to know where he was.
Where am I exactly, he asked Jost. Is this podcast?
In answer to his inquiry, Jost clarified that he was advertising his Netflix movie “everywhere” live on the Show.
Seinfeld said, in an exclusive statement, “You don’t know until someone who cares about you shows you a video package and you see yourself with people with these names like Hoda, Mo Rocca, Chanel, Vlad.”
He continued, mentioning Ryan Gosling’s good looks and sense of humor, “I want to help other people even though I know I can’t undo all the press I’ve done.” You are not the only one who struggles with the press. Ryan Gosling, this is me speaking.
I was just like you when I started working with the ‘Unfrosted’ press. Wonderfully attractive and funny. Now turn to face me. Think this is how I wanted to celebrate my 26th birthday? You can, however, clean up,” he said.
The spoof ended, though, with Seinfeld getting a call from Univision. He requested Jost specifically to search for him on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
For the uninitiated, Unfrosted started to watch on Netflix on Thursday, May 2.
