Kanye West Speaks Out on New Biopic ‘In Whose Name?’ as Legal Battles Unfold

Kanye West finds his upcoming biography titled ‘In Whose Name”very deep’.

Kanye West recently responded to the new film In Whose Name? after missing a court hearing in a harassment case.

Nico Ballesteros, a filmmaker, took to Instagram earlier this week to share an exchange with the rapper.

Kanye sent the director a note that stated, “The doc was very deep. It was like being dead and looking back on my life.”

“This is the most insightful text message I’ve ever gotten. “I love you, brother,” the young director replied.

According to The Mirror, the film was made on a billion-dollar budget, and Kanye looks to be impressed.

For the uninitiated, the upcoming film will follow the real-life journey of the Yeezy founder to become the richest Black man in America.

The film is apparently planned to be released in theaters next year.

Kanye’s latest case came after he skipped a court appearance in a civil case filed by his former aide, Benjamin Deshon Provo.

Kanye and his wife, Bianca Censori, were recently pictured spending quality time in Tokyo, despite the fact that he was scheduled to testify under oath last month.

It is worth noting that Benjamin filed a complaint for racial discrimination and unfair practices while working for his fashion label, Yeezy.

In the lawsuit, the ex-employee claimed that his former supervisor fired him because he refused to trim his dreadlocks during his employment.

Benjamin launched the legal case in April 2024.
