Kate Winslet admits she finds tough to be in limelight all the time.
Kate Winslet recently detailed why she will never use social media.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the Titanic star answered a question about using social media.
To which she responded, “I don’t think so.”
Kate described social media as a “distraction,” saying, “How can I honestly still look at my children and say, ‘I’m not sure it’s a good idea if I had it myself.'”
When asked if there were any social networking sites off-limits in her home, The Dressmaker actress said, “Yes, it is.”
In 2023, Kate made news for soothing a young journalist during an interview.
“That little girl…Actually, I didn’t know that cameras were even already rolling,” the mother of three recalled.
The Black Beauty actress added, “And she walked into the room, and she was so nervous…”and she was very clean.”
Kate admitted that constantly being in the spotlight was difficult for her.
“I felt like I had to look a certain way or be a certain thing, and because media intrusion was so prevalent at the time, my life was quite unpleasant,” said the Revolutionary Road actress.
Kate pointed out, “Journalists would always say, ‘After Titanic, you could have done anything and yet you chose to do these small things’ … and I was like, ‘Yeah, you bet your life I did!”
“Because, guess what, being famous was horrible,'” she revealed.
