Perry, 39, heard during a recent KOST 103.5 show with host Ellen K that Bloom, with whom she has a three-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, had a Hollywood Walk of Fame star.
“Woah! Orlando Bloom… wait, he has a star? When did this happen?” Though Pirates of the Caribbean fans may have known about Bloom’s achievement, the 47-year-old Fireworks singer was plainly astonished.
“You didn’t know he had a star?” the host inquired. “We’ve never gone and visited it!” Perry responded.
In addition to being one of the highest and most enduring honors an entertainer can receive, its placement makes it much more meaningful.
Bloom’s star is located on the most desirable stretch of Hollywood Blvd. real estate, “in front of [Madame Tussaud’s] Wax Museum and [the TCL] Chinese Theatre,” the host disclosed when Perry enquired.
“I didn’t know there was an actual star, just handprints. What a humble man,” added Perry, who just received the prestigious Video Vanguard Award at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards.
