The engagement of Lorraine Kelly’s daughter was recently made public.
With her daughter Rosie’s engagement announced over the weekend, the TV personality shared her happiness on the momentous occasion.
Opening up about the unexpected proposal, Kelly praised her son-in-law Steve.
“Rosie and her Steve got engaged, which is fantastic – he is wonderful,” she said, breaking the news in an exclusive interview with Susanna Reid and Adil Ray on Monday’s Good Morning Britain. The ring has been his for a while; he fixed it up and completed the process.”
Kelly went on to talk about her daughter Rosie, who is expecting her first child: “He sought Steve [Lorraine’s husband] permission, dropped down on one knee. Susanna, this is perplexing. Steve turns around as soon as I yell. Sometime we’ll have to work that out.”
Still, I’m thrilled that I’ll have a son! It is very wonderful. We’re overjoyed because he’s a great guy and has a great family.”
For the unversed, Rosie announced to Hello in April 2024 that she was expecting a girl.
