Meghan McCain Reveals ‘Deeply Unpleasant’ encounter with Jennifer Lopez on ‘The View’

Regarding J.Lo, Meghan McCain says, “Her entourage was bigger than Kim Kardashian’s and the President’s.”

Former co-host Meghan McCain of “The View” has spoken candidly about her unpleasant encounter with Jennifer Lopez during the pop singer’s debut on the Show.

In the most recent installment of her podcast, “Citizen McCain,” Meghan related the story, calling Lopez “deeply unpleasant” and pointing out the unusually big entourage that was with her.

McCain talked openly about Lopez’s recent career slump with media personality Carlos King and co-host Miranda Wilkins.

McCain questioned the need for such a strong staff, saying, “She had the biggest entourage I’ve ever seen, more than Kim Kardashian and the president.”

McCain’s disclosure that a TikTok video disparaging Lopez was supposedly removed at Lopez’s request, though it was later restored, changed the course of the conversation.

McCain expressed concern and acknowledged the bullying Lopez has experienced despite her comments. They were “beefing with her right now,” co-host Wilkins joked, a sneaky reference to the continuing hostility.

The conversation also covered Lopez’s past, with special guest Carlos King relating a very different, happy encounter he had with her during her “I’m Real” tour. King complimented Lopez for her hard ethic, pointing out in particular a memorable Las Vegas performance that he considers to be among the best five he has ever seen.

Even with her recent triumphs—such as the high streaming figures for her Netflix movie “Atlas,” Lopez’s most recent album and its promotional tour were not without controversy, with her documentary drawing criticism on social media.
