It was at the Stagecoach Festival in April that the two debuted their single live.
After weeks of teasing the much-awaited collaboration on social media, Morgan Wallen and Post Malone have finally released “I Had Some Help.”
Fans heard the country-pop song, which delves into the fallout from a failed romance, for the first time during Morgan Wallen‘s headline performance at Stagecoach in April, when he unexpectedly brought Malone out.
A music video for the single will premiere on May 10 at 10 a.m. ET. Malone has dabbled with country music before. He performed a CMA Awards tribute to the late Joe Diffie in 2023 with Wallen and HARDY.
Additionally a huge admirer of the genre, Malone brought out country performers like Brad Paisley and Sara Evans at Stagecoach and played country renditions. According to Billboard, he even gave a Twitch broadcast confirmation of an upcoming country record.
The “One Night at a Time” tour that Wallen is now on runs until August. He addressed an arrest in Nashville earlier this year in a public statement on X.
“I didn’t feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks. I’ve had conversations with my family, the nice folks at Chief’s, and Nashville law officers. I take responsibility and am not proud of my actions, the statement said. The cops who put in so much effort every day to keep us all safe have my highest admiration. Nothing will change about my tour.
There is an August hearing in his continuing legal battle.
