At the Walk of Fame ceremony for Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, Hollywood A-lister Robert Downey Jr. shared humorous remarks about his ‘Avengers’ co-star.
For his work in film, Chris Hemsworth was given a star on the Walk of Fame. Along with his wife Elsa Pataky and their three children, India Rose, twin twins Sasha, and Tristan, the Hollywood hottie showed up for the ceremony in Los Angeles.
But at the Wednesday event, it was his buddy and co-star Robert Downey Jr. who stole the show as he co-ordinated the lighthearted roast of Hemsworth with their other “Avengers” cast members.
When Downey Jr. asked his fellow performers to sum up the “Furiosa” star in three words, they read out the letters they sent him.
Hemsworth was dubbed “Absurdly, annoyingly amazing” by Jeremy Renner, a.k.a. Clint Barton/Hawkey, and “Friend from Work” by Mark Ruffalo, a.k. Black Widow Scarlett Johansson called her co-star a “sensitive leading lady.”
But the finest part of the roast was when Captain America, Chris Evans, referred to his namesake as the “second best Chris” at the very end.
Interesting to mention is that Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr. costarred on screen as their legendary characters in four Marvel films: “The Avengers,” “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Avengers: Infinity War,” and “Avengers: Endgame.”
