With a fresh performance, Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter created a festive atmosphere.
Chappell Roan was invited as a celebrity guest on Sabrina Carpenter‘s Christmas show, A Nonsense Christmas, and the two pop stars’ vocals joined together to create a melodious duet.
On Friday, December 6th, the 25-year-old Espresso singer debuted her Christmas special on Netflix, which included numerous cameos by comedians and musicians.
The Roan was asked onstage by the Disney alum to perform a cover of the 1984 holiday classic, Last Christmas.
Wearing outfits reminiscent of Good Luck, Babe, the two pop singers’ performance of the classic set the stage on fire! Hitmaker donned a white fur coat, a long skirt with a slit, and an emerald crop top.
The Bad Chem singer, meanwhile, mirrored her colleague by donning an emerald top, matching skirt, and a white coat that was comparable.
The performance’s set was designed to look like the wreckage of a home party, complete with broken cups, rolling champagne bottles, and green streamers that created the feel of a festive get-together.
Supporters flooded social media with compliments for the pop artists. One of these fans wished for the “prefect” cover to be made available on streaming sites.
Another person echoed the feeling, writing, “I will raise hell if Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter’s last Christmas doesn’t end up on Spotify.”
Another wrote, “The song Last Christmas by Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan was everything I needed it to be and more.”
A third person added, “That was incredible oh my gawd!!! They sounded incredible together. Plus the outfits my gawd!! Perfect song choice too.”
