Danielle Fishel continued her pattern of praising Sabrina Carpenter’s album.
Sabrina Carpenter is expressing her love and support to her old Girl Meets World co-star Danielle Fishel, who is now battling breast cancer.
The 25-year-old singer showed her gratitude when Fishel wrote a heartfelt Instagram post commemorating the release of Carpenter’s most recent album, Short n’ Sweet.
In the post, she just revealed her breast cancer diagnosis and was seen holding a vinyl record of Carpenter’s album while seated in a Target shopping cart, following a particular custom the pair have kept with each new album release.
“This never gets old,” Fishel wrote beside the photo. “Short n’ Sweet out nowwww! I will climb into a Target cart for you even when I’m 100 years old. Congratulations on sharing this masterpiece with the world!”
Sabrina wrote in the comments, “Love you forever.” Her message was simple but heartfelt.
The two actresses and longtime friends met when Carpenter was cast as Maya Hart, Cory and Topanga Matthews’ daughter Riley’s best friend, on the Boy Meets World spinoff Girl Meets World.
Since then, Danielle Fishel has been one of Carpenter’s most ardent supporters, with a playful tradition of celebrating each record release.
She has posted images of herself seated in a shopping cart for each big release, including Singular Act I in 2018, Singular Act II in 2019, and Emails I Cannot Send in 2022.
The most recent post celebrating Short n’ Sweet maintains this cherished ritual.
