Sabrina Carpenter’s “Please Please Please” Music Video Features Real-Life Romance with Barry Keoghan

Her real-life partner appears in a cinematic music video for Sabrina Carpenter’s most recent track.

With the appearance of actor Barry Keoghan in the music video for her most recent single, “Please Please Please,” Sabrina Carpenter has elevated their connection. With a Bonnie and Clyde-style plot, Keoghan plays Carpenter’s love interest in the June 6th video.

In keeping with her prior music video for “Espresso,” Carpenter is shown being released from jail at the beginning of the video and looks straight at Keoghan’s character. Scenes of crime sprees, jail visits, and emotional upheavals punctuate their connection as Carpenter begs Keoghan to turn around.

Carpenter sings of heartache and the dread of humiliation brought on by a partner’s actions in “Please Please Please,” which reflects the storyline of the video. A shocking twist in the video sees Carpenter take charge, handcuffing and muting Keoghan before abandoning him in a warehouse.

“Please Please Please” was released at the same time as Carpenter revealed her next album, “Short n’ Sweet,” to be released on August 23. Calling the endeavor “quite special,” the singer has expressed her excitement for it and hopes it will connect with her fans.

After sparking romance rumors in late 2023, Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan debuted on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty in March of 2024. Their May Met Gala performance together cemented their bond even more. The music video for “Please Please Please” is a big step in their public relationship.
