Sadie Sink Hints at Max’s Comeback in ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5

Sadie Sink on her ‘Stranger Things‘ character Max, who went into a coma in the last season.

Sadie Sink has stirred interest among Stranger Things fans with an tantalising hint about the fate of her character, Max, who was left in a coma at the end of the previous season.

In a recent interview with Variety, the young actress hinted at what to expect from the Netflix hit’s highly anticipated fifth and final season.

“They love having me run,” she cryptically said when questioned about Max’s future, indicating that her character would awaken from her coma.

“That’s all I’ll say,” Sink, 22, concluded, masterfully avoiding more queries and refusing to reveal further information.

Fans will recall that in the fourth season finale, Max went into a coma after a terrifying confrontation with the demonic Vecna, played by Jamie Campbell Bower. Vecna almost killed Max before Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) was able to restart her heart in the Upside Down.

While Sink’s comment has stoked speculation, the show’s creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, have likewise been quiet about Max’s future.

“She’s going to play a part in the season,” Matt stated, but added, “We don’t want to reveal how that’s possible,” with Ross chiming in, “Right because she’s in a coma.”

According to Entertainment Weekly, it’s unclear when or if Max will wake up, but Sink has been spotted filming with her co-stars in Atlanta, leaving fans curious to see what her character does next.
