On Friday, 12 July sees Scarlett Johansson’s Fly Me to the Moon in theatres.
“Fly Me to the Moon” boasts performers ready for a big release.
Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum went to the world premiere of their picture on Monday, July 8; AMC Lincoln Square in New York City will open on July 12. Colin Jost, Johansson’s husband, was also there to celebrate the romantic comedy with her. Tatum, 44, plays Cole Davis in the film, tasked with planning a fictitious moon trip following the White House assessment of NASA’s 1969 moon landing project as too important to risk failure. 39-year-old Johansson stars Kelly Jones, a marketing team member striving to enhance NASA’s public image.
Tatum wore a sleek navy blue pinstripe suit with black dress shoes to honor the release of the movie.
Johansson donned a bespoke Prada outfit with a top and skirt in faille vichy, accessorized with silver leather sandals and crystal embroidery trim.
Sparkling round dangling drop earrings matched the summer-inspired clothing. The actress finished her appearance with a delicate pink blush, a loose Ponytail, and rose-colored lipstick.
Under a navy Prada mohair suit, Johansson’s 42-year-old spouse opted for a more laid-back look with a light blue button-up shirt teamed with white sneakers.
Johansson told PEOPLE in April about her experience acting in “Fly Me to the Moon” and working with Tatum, whom she had not known before production.
“Channing is a professional, good-spirited, laid-back actor. On-screen falling in love with him was simple. He is a likable person,” she remarked.”Kelly and Cole are such opposites. It was fun to play that dynamic with Channing.”
