Selena Gomez just wrote heartfelt thoughts about the enormous importance of mental health in her life.
The Only Murder In The Building actress posted pictures from her hosted Mental Health Summit on Instagram on Wednesday.
“Our 3rd annual @rarebeauty Mental Health Summit has me leaving inspired by the next generation, filled with so much hope, and grateful to each of you for being on this meaningful journey with us,” Gomez captioned the post.
The singer of Single Soon went on, “I’m honored we get to share this mission with the world together and mental health means so much to me.”
With a thank-you to everyone who joined us and continued to use their voice for good, she ended the caption.
Gomez also released a carousel of photos, the first one showing her wearing an ivory dress and standing against a wall covered with information about the company.
Gomez is seen in other pictures talking to US Surgeon General Vice Admiral Vivek Murthy.
Not long after she posted the picture on Instagram, her closest friends and family flocked to the comment area to show their love and respect.
Her boyfriend Benny Blanco also backed Gomez in the comment area.
“You inspire me,” the record producer said, “I’m so proud of you bb.”
