‘Venom’ Star Tom Hardy Takes Charge: Offers to Cover Unpaid Wages for Set Workers

Tom Hardy promises to pay the staff of the new series ‘Fixer’

Tom Hardy has captured hearts yet again, this time with a nice gesture rather than another performance.

A construction company just recruited a crew to work on the sets for Tom’s upcoming Paramount+ series. The hired employees lost their pay because they were not paid at the start, and the construction company has recently gone out of business.

When the workers from the firm Helix 3D completed the set this summer, a WhatsApp message emerged on December 9 revealing that the company lacked the funds to pay its employees.

However, Paramount has already paid the building business in full.

According to reports, the Legend actor has promised to contribute approximately $315,000 in funds to pay the vulnerable workers’ dues.

According to the 47-year-old actor, everyone deserves to get paid on time throughout the holiday season.

A source close to Hardy told the Times, “He offered to [pay], but the production and Paramount have sorted the payment.”

Despite People’s request for comment, officials from Paramount, Helix 3D, and Tom have yet to respond.

Guy Ritchie, an acclaimed filmmaker, will direct the upcoming series Fixer. The film also stars Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren.
