The second season of the horror series has completed filming and will be released in 2025.
For those who don’t know, the second season of Wednesday was recorded in several locations throughout Ireland.
The You star is seen rising and crossing her arms in the widely shared photo.
Al Gough and Miles Millar described filming the much-anticipated performance in Ireland as “truly magical.”
They added, “It adds a sense of timeless beauty, wonder, and epic spectacle to the world of Wednesday.” It is no coincidence that Dracula author Bram Stoker was born in Dublin, and his novels were inspired by Irish tradition.”
Notably, in the upcoming season, the actress will both play the main character and assume the role of the producer.
Cast members who will return to their roles alongside Jenna include Myers (Enid Sinclair), Sunday (Bianca Barclay), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene), Georgie Farmer (Ajax), and Dorobantu.
Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo (Deputy Ritchie Santiago), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams), Guzmán (Gomez Addams), and Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams) have solidified their roles as series regulars. Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester) and Jamie McShane (Sheriff Donovan Galpin) are also set to continue their regular appearances on the show.
The official release date for Wednesday season 2 has not yet been announced, however, it is believed to occur in July 2025.
