Taking to Instagram on Saturday, June 29, the Yellowstone star informed his followers of the happy news. “For the last 2 years in Every Way and Every Day this beautiful soul has made me and my life better, deeper, and more whole,” he captioned the photo. “She said ‘Yes.'”
The Sweet Home Alabama star said, “I WAY love you, Brianna,” and went on to thank “our families and all the people and places that made this come true.”He ended the caption, which included a carousel of videos and photos, “I am aware I got crazy lucky.”
Ruffalo was shown in the first video in the sequence, clearly distraught, not long after Lucas proposed. A band played in the background while the ABC7 Los Angeles meteorologist sat behind the table and dabbed at her eyes.
Through her tears, she grinned, a huge diamond ring visible on her finger.
Another video included the band performing an acoustic version of Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling in Love. Lucas then swept the camera to his fiancée, who was holding her hands up to her face, allowing viewers to get a better look at the engagement ring.
Although neither of them disclosed the location of the engagement, the contented pair was recently photographed enjoying a holiday in Italy.
