Production on Euphoria Season 3 will start in January 2024.
Zendaya has dropped new information regarding the much anticipated third season of Euphoria, stating that a time jump will play a significant role in the story line.
Zendaya has revealed some interesting details regarding the upcoming third installment of the popular HBO drama Euphoria, which will include a time jump.
Confirming the time jump, the actor—who will play Rue Bennett again—discussed the future of the show.
Euphoria, which is loosely based on writer Sam Levinson’s personal experiences with drug addiction, follows high school students in the made-up town of East Highland as they deal with addiction, love, sex, and loss.
Even Zendaya, who is an executive producer on the show, admitted that she doesn’t fully know what to expect from the upcoming season. Those who are interested in what happens in this exciting next chapter will have to tune in.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly’s The Awards podcast, the performer expressed her enthusiasm about delving into the lives of the characters beyond high school.
“I don’t quite know exactly what the season is going to look like, but I do know that the time jump is happening,” she stated.
“It will be fascinating to see how everything we saw when they were in high school affects their adulthood and who they become in a much bigger world. I’ll be interested to see what happens too.”
The third season of Euphoria will finally begin production in January following a series of delays, mostly due to the 2023 Hollywood strikes.
In addition to being an executive producer on the show, Zendaya gained notoriety recently for her performance in the romantic sports drama Challengers, directed by Luca Guadagnino.
