Vera Farmiga Says Goodbye to ‘The Conjuring’ Co-Star Patrick Wilson in Emotional Tribute

Patrick Wilson enjoyed his last day on set as the beloved horror franchise wraps up with the upcoming film, ‘The Conjuring: Last Rites’

Vera Farmiga is saying farewell to her on-screen husband Patrick Wilson as their roles as paranormal power couple Ed and Lorraine Warren end.

The actress came to Instagram on November 21 to express her emotions as Wilson finished filming The Conjuring: Last Rites, the final chapter of the renowned horror series.

“Roundabout 5000 days ago, this guy and I signed a WB contract and said ‘I do’ to embodying Ed and Lorraine Warren. Today, he wraps,” Farmiga captioned a vintage-style wedding photo of the duo.

Reflecting on their 12-year relationship, she said, “It was a match made in heaven, PWilz.” A hell of an era. “I cherish you…”

Farmiga’s post celebrated their years of laughing and teamwork, stating that Wilson will soon leave his “sweat-soaked demonologist garb” for his real life with his wife, Dagmara Domińczyk. Meanwhile, Farmiga enjoys her personal life with her husband, Renn Hawkey.

The couple, both 51, originally appeared together in James Wan’s The Conjuring in 2013. They have reprised their roles in subsequent flicks and spinoffs, including Annabelle Comes Home. The franchise, famed for its unsettling yet sympathetic portrayal of the Warrens, solidified their on-screen relationship as one of Hollywood’s most famous duos.

The Conjuring: Last Rites, planned to be released on September 5, 2025, marks the end of an era for both the actors and fans of the horror franchise.
