Dannielynn usually leads a quiet life, but every May she makes time to go to the Kentucky Derby with her.
During Kentucky Derby weekend, Dannielynn Birkhead and her father Larry made waves at the Barnstable-Brown Gala, when their viral images went viral on social media.
“On our way to Barnstable-Brown Gala for the kick-off of the @kentuckyderby weekend,” Larry, 51, captioned an Instagram photo he posted with a carousel of pictures of him and his 17-year-old daughter. They are shown grinning together in one of the pictures, both looking flawless. While Dannielynn chose an exquisite all-black ensemble once worn by Janet Jackson, Larry, a photographer and the ex-partner of Anna Nicole Smith, dressed in a chic gray suit with a black tie.
“Dannielynn is wearing her second @janetjackson outfit to the party that I got from Janet’s @juliens_auctions -charity auction,” Larry said, describing Dannielynn’s clothing, a knee-length black Gianfranco Ferre dress with zippers all around.
“Looking forward to a fun Derby weekend with the newly graduated high school student!” Larry said, clearly excited about the event.
Though she usually keeps a quiet life, Dannielynn and her father always try to go to the Kentucky Derby together in May. Dannielynn was only three years old when this custom began.
