90 Day Fiancé’ stars Darcey Silva and Georgi Rusev took a romantic leap into matrimony with an intimate and symbolic wedding, held on November 11 at Silva’s father’s estate. The couple shared the enchanting details of their special day, revealing the heartfelt reasons behind their wedding date and their plans for the future, in a heartfelt reveal to their fans.
“We chose the 11/11 wedding date because it’s a manifesting number that’s always been special to us. We make a wish at 11:11 on the clock,” Silva, 49, shared. The date also honors Silva’s late brother Michael, who passed away from cancer in 1998, continuing a legacy that inspired their fashion brand House of Eleven and their first company Eleventh Entertainment.
The Connecticut estate provided a picturesque backdrop for the couple’s ceremony, transformed into a Tuscan-like paradise by B’Dazzled Events. Surrounded by 15 close guests, the couple exchanged vows in a setting adorned with candles and white flowers. “It was stunning and breathtaking,” Silva recalls of the romantic ambiance.
Silva walked down the aisle in a breathtaking custom-made gown by Katerina Bocci, a renowned Albanian-American designer. The dress, a corseted, mermaid-style creation, featured pearl and crystal embellishments, making Silva feel like a true princess. Silva’s twin sister Stacey, the maid of honor, complemented the bride in a dramatic red silk gown with kimono sleeves, also designed by Bocci.
The sisters’ looks were accentuated with crystal headpieces by Leila Gjurashaj and styled by celebrity stylist Aferdita and makeup artist Katrina D’Onofrio. “We looked like Hollywood movie stars,” says Darcey. The ceremony, officiated by family friend Amos Jones, was heartfelt and emotional.
Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a feast catered by Bella’Gio, a local award-winning restaurant. World-renowned photographer Fadil Berisha captured the wedding, producing remarkable photos that the couple will cherish for a lifetime.
The wedding announcement, initially shared in a joint Instagram post with TLC, surprised fans. Darcey reflected on her journey to find love, expressing gratitude for the support and love she received. “In the end, love wins,” she wrote.
