Kim and Kanye’s Daughter, North West, Faces Online Backlash After “The Lion King” Debut

‘Nepotism and the synonym next to it is KARDASHIANS,’ a user on X said.

On Friday, at ‘The Lion King’s’ 30th Anniversary event, North West, the eldest daughter of Kim Kardashian, debuted as Young Simba.

Since then, 10-year-old Kardashian has been the focus of internet bullying.

Parents Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were in attendance at the event as their daughter sang “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King” on the Hollywood Bowl stage.

For her performance, the audience applauded North’s standing ovation.

Still, X (formerly known as Twitter) users expressed their opinions on Kim and Kanye’s daughter’s performance.

‘The finest thing to be born with is nepotism,’ one user said.

“The worst case of repo I have witnessed,” said another.

‘Kardashinians is the synonym for nepotism,’ a user wrote.

Another said, ‘Someone else’s more talented, most likely vocal and dance-trained youngster didn’t get it because his/her family isn’t famous enough.

Though I’m sure not going to ignore the fact that we all know she wouldn’t be there if her parents weren’t who they are, she looks fantastic and seems to be having a great time. This is the height of classism!’ a different user shared.

While North made her acting debut on Friday, her involvement with her father, Kanye West, has given her experience on stage.

Vultures 1′ album release events have featured live performances by the father-daughter pair in Miami and Paris.
