Cheers that changed to boos as Kim Kardashian entered the stage
At the Tom Brady Roast, Kim Kardashian just entered the stage to a throng of applause that quickly gave way to boos.
Applause greeted the reality personality and businesswoman as she entered the platform, champagne in hand. The star of Keeping Up With the Kardashians was booed by the audience, though.
“All right, all right, all right,” she said, stepping back to nod.
Kardashian brought up dating speculations a while back when she and Brady were the buzz of the town.
“I know there were some rumors that we were, and I’d never say if we did or not,” she said. Just release a cassette, please.”
Carrying on, she said, “But I do know it would never work out,” pointing out that Brady is a former athlete with “silky hair” and powerful cheekbones.
Brady reminded her “too much,” she continued, of her stepdad, Caitlyn Jenner.
Then she said, “Oh, part of me thinks you would want to [date] me just to try on my clothes.”
Reverting to Kim, Brady later appeared on stage and also ridiculed the reality TV personality.
Speaking of the Skims founder, he brought up her ex-husband Kanye West.
Thank you very much for coming, he said. Kim, I know, was frightened to come here tonight. Her kids are home with their dad, not because of this.”
